Technical Support Wintel Consultant -End User Computing

Role:
This role is responsible for the operational support and development of the nominated service within Workplace, incorporating Strategy, Design, Run, Provisioning & Deployment, Transition & Change, Consumption, Support, Delivery Performance & Quality, Capacity & Continuity, Issue & Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides SME-level technical support of all facets of the EUC, Wintel and software distribution services
  • Represents the service(s) across the organization
  • Accountable for the successful resolution of critical, high, medium and low problems
  • Accountable for the successful resolution of critical, high, medium and low problems
  • Identifies opportunities to drive efficiency through automation
  • Contributes to the technical governance of service management processes including, incident, problem, change, configuration, capacity, continuity (DR), availability, asset, monitoring and alerting

What you will bring:

  • Experience implementing and managing Base Operating Environments (BOE) and SOE
  • Experience delivering technical support and development services to large scale enterprise deployments of SCCM, Altiris, InTune.
  • Experience in designing, building, managing and administering large scale Active Directory and Wintel Server (physical and virtual) environments
  • Experience implementing and managing large scale upgrades in SCCM technologies and toolsets.
  • Experience in AD support and implementation
  • Experience in the design and deployment of enterprise level Wintel infrastructure.
  • Experience in creation of scripts (PowerShell) to drive automation
  • Experience experience delivering service in an enterprise ITIL environment
  • Experience in designing, building, managing and administering large scale Wintel environments with knowledge in software distribution, patch management and anti-virus technologies
