Technical Business Analyst

Exciting opportunities for passionate “Technical Business Analyst” to join Financial organisation’s Digital Technology team!

About the Role:

  • Responsibility for the end to end analysis and process mapping for Client’ Frontline Applications
  • Working directly with our Digital LT and key stakeholders to help prioritise work, regularly communicating outcomes, opportunities, risks and issues
  • Working with the following individuals/teams to achieve the following outcomes:
    • Scrum team – coaching and mentoring the team through the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation phases
    • Pipeline and Agile Release Trains – frequent communication through all stages of the process prior to initiatives commencing delivery
    • Product/Service Owners – frequent communication around story/epic/iteration prioritisation, shaping, elaboration and progress through the digital phases prior to commencing delivery
    • Product Engineering and User Experience – Providing support to ensure solution architects and designers have all the resources available and roadblocks removed to support the creation of well quantified and researched stories
  • Management of conflicting priorities in a rapidly changing environment
  • Guide and reinforce a culture where the analysis team are integral from the beginning of an initiative by ensuring they are mandatory at planning meetings, and have the confidence to push back when required
  • Continually developing and balancing technical and soft skills with an understanding that making great software requires both collaboration and problem analysis
  • Manage initiative pipeline of work for the mobile platform

Essential knowledge, experience and attributes

  • 8+ years within a Business and Technical Analysis, Digital Product or similar role
  • Strong experience in business and process analysis, mapping and engineering
  • Working in with operations and quality engineering team to provide end to end system high level flows
  • Experience working in large, complex projects in an unpredictable environment with competing priorities
  • Development and delivery of requirements and processes supporting the build and release of customer facing digital assets
  • Develop Business Requirement Documents
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing/presentations skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, risk assessment, planning and mitigation skills
  • Proven experience working collaboratively with Product and User Experience teams
  • Candidates from Development or DevOps background would be given preference.
  • Good understanding about technology
  • Experience with mobile software platforms and devices/wearables (iOS and Android)
  • Experience working within an Agile software development team, specifically in a cross-functional scrum team of 10-15 people
  • Extensive Strategy and Planning skills across all test phases within the SDLC
  • Proven management of multiple inter-dependant deliveries on time and in budget
  • You live to innovate, re-engineer processes, and automate
