Adaps has been scouted to source Senior Java Developer in Digital Technology for a Large financial organisation in Melbourne CBD.

To be successful in the role you should possess a combination of the following skills / experience

  • Experience across the software development life-cycle (SDLC)
  • Test Driven Development approaches
  • Continuous Integration/Delivery Practices
  • Secure coding practices
  • Experience with REST APIs
  • Experience with the design and implementation of Web APIs
  • Experience implementing Microservice Oriented Architectures
  • Experience in working in Agile environment
  • Exposure to multiple development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish good working relationships
  • 5+ years Technology experience
  • Experience in AWS services
  • Experience in Kafka is highly regarded
  • Experience in containerisation is an advantage
  • Experience working with JIRA
  • Experience with GIT
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies
  • Strong experience with SQL (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (CouchDB, MongoDB, REDIS, etc)
  • Solid experience in code and script (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, jQuery.)
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
