Project Manager (tactical projects Transformation)

The Project Manager will lead the development and regular update of an overarching Project Plan and associated reporting tools and will work with stakeholders from across the investment pipeline function to ensure agreed deliverables are achieved on-time and on-budget.

Duties include:

  • Develop and be accountable for project management plans to deliver the longer term (2 year plus) programs and resourcing strategies
  • Develop and maintain the overall project plan and Gantt Chart, monitoring performance against the project plan to ensure key milestones are met and preparing regular reports for the Project Board
  • Schedule “end to end” delivery of project deliverables and manage appropriate inter dependencies between projects
  • Establish risk, issues, opportunities, threats and decisions registers to assist management understand emerging issues and mitigate potential outcomes
  • Report project delivery performance.
  • Lead project meetings and resolve actions there-from.
  • Track project capital and operating expenditure, prepare forecasts of upcoming spends, and prepare regular expenditure reports for the relevant investment projects Project Board
  • Provide long term program visibility and Project communications to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee Training Programs are in place to support systems, process and practice changes
  • Provide Project inputs to the Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Contract Management teams
  • Research and provide justifications to the Investment Unit and other areas of the business providing recommendations to drive innovation
