Our client a leading organization has engaged Adaps to source for Development Manager to join their Technology and Operations team at Melbourne.
About the Role:
Looking for new leaders to take responsibility for shaping, managing and ensuring smooth delivery of technical change to our Siebel platforms which are critical to supporting the core banking applications for originations of business and consumer lending.
Experience in Investment banking is an added advantage
you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the design, development and testing of customer / colleague and technology features/stories in line with service priorities
  • Leading an agile delivery scrum team outputs including: engineering standards, sprint backlogs and plans, engineers’ responsibilities and performance management, code quality, adherence to development guardrails, testing etc
  • Supporting code in production
  • Qualifying (as requests for work) and managing delivery from downstream service teams and/or third-party vendors in line with service boundaries
  • Leveraging and exploiting cloud solutions, DevOps, testing automation etc
  • Owning the adoption of standards-working with the team to ensure understanding and adoption of Software Engineering standards
  • Responsible for Identifying & remediating risks and issues, reporting on progress and blockers as a people leader responsible for motivating and engaging your teammates, working together to build a high performing team. –
  • Prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team. Matrix-managing a multidisciplinary team

  • Technical domain (eg. business subject matter, technology and/or tools, vendor/package) expertise

  • Full lifecycle (design to development to testing to support)
  • Testing automation
  • Siebel, VB Script, java, perl, .net, VB6, SQL, PLSQL systems exposure and knowledge
  • Cloud services
