Our client, a leading financial organization has engaged Adaps to source for Delivery Lead to join their trading team at Sydney.

About the Role:
Manages the agile delivery of application changes – both business and technology – to trade platform for the ‘Customer and Cash’ end to end Service. This role engages with a number of vendors along with in-house business and technology teams.

You will be responsible for Delivery :

  • Responsibility for specific quarterly and ad-hoc releases incorporating:
  • Release Scheduling and tracking
  • Providing progress updates to the stakeholders
  • Milestone and dependency alignment with other vendors and releases
  • Seeking Baseline Scope Approval & finalised business requirements from business in time for release build start
  • Scope Change Control / backlog reprioritisation
  • Vendor build and vendor test delivery tracking
  • Risks identification and mitigation actions management
  • Running sprint planning and retros
  • Running stand-ups with testing, Bas, business PMs, vendors, environment & infrastructure and Service Operations
  • Tracking of SIT, UAT, performance testing and removing blockers
  • Preparing release for implementation & go-live support and hypercare support post go-live


  • Vendor delivery of build and testing with Vendor representatives
  • Testing team with the Testing Lead


  • Provide leadership by example by taking ownership of tasks, managing expectations and stakeholders

To be successful:

  • Strong project management skills (5+ year) including significant experience in managing technologies, associated risks and working in partnership with consultants
  • 5+ years Technology experience including ability understand that follow up infrastructure changes
  • 2+ years Agile delivery experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Highly developed communication and influencing skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience in shaping priorities, and managing different skills within a team
  • Tertiary education in Technology or related discipline
  • Well developed strategic and leadership skills
  • Track record in people leadership and developing high performing teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills in presenting challenges with alternatives solutions and recommendations
  • Ability to adopt in a changing environment and initiative to suggest improvement
