ADAPS CAPABILITY STATEMENT

HISTORY

In 1976 Adaps pioneered the concept of IT professionals working on contract via an agency. By 1984 Adaps was the largest supplier of IT contractors in Australia and was promptly acquired. In 1997, the original adaps management reformed the company and by 2000 introduced a new revolutionary recruiting system to Australia.

CORE BUSINESS

Adaps’ business model provides an advantage to the client and placement by separating the recruitment function into three distinct divisions:

  • Adaps employs skilled New Business Development executives to sell our services.
  • Adaps uses professional IT recruiters to match client requirements to contractor skills. Hence our unparalleled industry guarantees (see below)
  • Once a contractor signs the contract they are looked after by ‘Contractor Care’ staff whose only role is to manage the ongoing relationship.

CLIENT GUARANTEES

Our unique satisfaction guarantees benefit clients for both permanents and contractors.

PERMANENT:

If a permanent placement is dismissed for either unsatisfactory performance or conduct Adaps will:

  • Refund double adaps fees if dismissed in the first three months
  • Refund all adaps fees if dismissed between three months and a year

CONTRACTOR:

If a contractor is dismissed for either unsatisfactory performance or conduct Adaps will:

  • Refund double adaps fees if dismissed in the first three months
  • Refund all adaps fees if dismissed during the period of the contract

As a client you can also benefit from being able to convert an adaps contractor to permanent employment at the end of the contract period without any extra fees.

FEE STRUCTURE

Adaps uses the following simple fee structures (Tier 1 relationship):

  • Permanents: There is a flat fee of 15% of their gross annual salary
  • Contractors: Clients can choose between two options:
    • 15% of the daily rate for the first twelve months then reduces to $34 per day. OR
    • 7% of the gross annual salary equivalent paid on contract commencement plus an ongoing $34 per day admin fee for the length of the contract..

Adaps' service includes insuring contractors for $10M Professional Indemnity and $20M Public Liability. We also take care of WorkCover, handling contractor allowances and any relationship issues.
