Test Manager/ Testing Delivery Manager – UAT / BRT

Our large consulting client is currently sourcing for Test Manager / Testing Delivery Manager (User Acceptance Testing and Business Readiness Testing) to manage multifunctional testing projects in a fast paced environment.

  • An IT or related tertiary qualification and at least 10 – 14 years’ experience in testing
  • Testing experience should include at least 4 years’ experience in a Test Management
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment and manage teams of at least 20 members and at least 5 projects in parallel.
  • Must have strong leadership and management skills and be comfortable defending a position with regards to testing.
  • Proven experience in Test Management, Test Estimation, Risk Analysis and mitigation planning, Forecasting
  • Experience of managing User Acceptance Testing and Business Readiness Testing (in production/live) – at least 3 years
  • Experience of conducting workshops with Business and understanding Testing Business requirements and be able to document test approach
  • Experience of co-ordinating with Business testers and ensuring timelines for projects are met.
  • Experience in User interface testing and Process testing.
  • Experience in Managing teams in multiple locations (onshore and offshore)
  • Knowledge of quality improvement, quality process, quality assurance methodologies and best practices
  • Expert understanding of test processes and test lifecycle
  • Development of test plans, test cases multiple functional areas across multiple system domains and test scripts
  • Experience in metrics collection and analysis
  • Experience of working in waterfall and Agile methodologies,
  • Experience in reviewing the functional and design documents
  • Working with a variety of bug tracking tools (e.g. ALM, JIRA).
  • Experience in preparing Daily and Weekly status reports
  • Knowledge of scientific estimation tools.
  • Experience in creating weekly Status reports for all projects managed and ability to initiate and showcase value add at various stages.
