SENIOR SERVICE DESK OFFICER

Seeking an experienced Service Desk Officer for a 9 month contract role in Grafton NSW.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide professional telephone advice and support to stakeholders to effectively manage calls to resolution using Service Desk software and a processes
  • Provide Level 2 technical customer support services to achieve business objectives and optimise customer satisfaction
  • Provide assistance in escalation management so that call resolution times and customer satisfaction levels are optimised.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Practical working Knowledge of service desk operations and customer service needs relevant to the role
  • Sound conflict resolution techniques required in a large geographically diverse organisation
  • Sound technical knowledge to support IT operations
  • Knowledge of Software distribution and packaging
  • Working knowledge of policies and procedures relevant to the service desk role
  • Knowledge of computer operations, business systems and programs relevant for the role
  • Experience in using call logging software e.g. Service Manager 9 or similar
  • Experience in working in a Service Desk environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Experience working with Windows Operating Systems, the Microsoft Office Suite and associated applications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification(s) – minimum – Certificate IV in Information Technology
  • MCP certification
  • Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
