AEM Full Stack Developer
Contract – 3 months on a view to extend
Location – Melbourne

ADAPS has been scouted to source AEM Developer with Java background for its client in Melbourne CBD. This is initially a 3 months’ contract with an option of extension.
Job Role:
As a Developer at our client you will work in an agile squad within the Digital team, and be responsible for developing and supporting ongoing system enhancements and new solutions to customer facing systems. The role includes solution design, development and maintenance of various system components. Our client operates in the AWS environment, and you will use a variety of technologies including code and build tools (eg. Bamboo and Atlassian stack), and Adobe Experience Manager and Java.
Must have skills:

  • HTML5, CSS (LESS/SASS), Bootstrap
  • JavaScript (ES6 preferably) and JS frameworks like React, etc.
  • AEM 6.2 site structure, custom components, custom workflows, object model designs (Java APIs), and unit testing
  • Developing, implementing and configuring web content management solutions using AEM (Adobe CQ) and technologies such as Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and web services
  • Java 7, JMS, SpringBoot, Maven, Gradle
  • Tomcat, Apache, OSGi frameworks
  • REST, SOAP, AJAX, RAML
  • GIT, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Stash or equivalent
  • Comfortable working in Linux environments (SSH, basic navigation etc)

Desired skills:

  • Java 8
  • AWS API Gateway platform for APIs
  • Amazon Web Services – SQS, Redis, S3, etc.
  • Node.js, NPM
  • Micro-service architecture

Minimum Education/Professional Qualifications & Experience
Required:

  • 4+ years full stack development experience with Java
  • Experience working in an Agile team environment
  • Experience working within the AWS environment
