Privacy Policy
1 About the Policy
The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide a clear and concise outline of how personal information is disclosed, used, stored and otherwise handled, and the choices you have regarding our use of this information. This policy applies only to Adaps. Adaps abides by the National Privacy Principles and has systems and procedures in place to protect your privacy in relation to the handling of your personal information.
2 Collection of Personal Information
Information is collected from you primarily to make decisions about your suitability for roles. Information is collected through the CV you provide to us, psychometric testing, interviewing, reference and probity checking.
3 Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
3.1 Personal
Personal information is information or opinion about an individual or organisation which also allows identification of that individual or organisation. Adaps does not disclose any client or candidate information outside Adaps unless legally required to do so or with your consent. Test Results from the Adaps testing and selection process are only available to authorized staff of Adaps.
Adaps may disclose information to third parties to provide the service requested, for example when offering services to a client company or when informing of a project within a client organisation. Personal information such as CVs will not be forwarded to clients without consent.
Sometimes we collect personal information from a third party if an individual has consented, for example when undertaking reference checks or probity checks. However, we will always obtain consent for such procedures from the individual involved.

3.2 Anonymous
We may use collective or aggregate data to help us continually improve our processes, further our knowledge of IT role competence or to demonstrate our expertise when marketing our services to clients and candidates. Adaps may publish or provide this aggregate data to other people, but will not provide any personal information that makes candidates identifiable or contactable.
4 Quality
AVB takes all reasonable steps to make sure that the personal information it collects, uses or discloses is accurate, complete and up-to-date. To assist Adaps in achieving its objective, please contact us if any of your details change. Further, if you believe that the information Adaps holds is not accurate, complete or up-to-date, please contact us in order to have the information corrected.
5 Security
Adaps makes every effort to protect the personal information it holds from misuse and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Adaps maintains physical security over its paper and electronic data stores, such as locks and security systems. Adaps also operates secure data networks and maintains computer and network security using passwords to control and restrict access to authorised staff for approved purposes. Adaps takes reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify personal information if it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was obtained.
